4- Week Walking Program
No matter what size, shape or age you are, a walking program is a perfect way to start exercising regularly, and focus on getting healthy in the new year.
This program is a 4-week fitness walking program that consists of timed intervals of slow walking and fast walking. The goal is to increase cardiovascular fitness, burn calories and motivate you to work out on a regular basis for the rest of your life. Walking is a low-impact exercise for those who want to get fit.
Program includes:
Schedule: - $60.00 for four week session. Class meets 4 times and you will receive 4 workouts per week.
SPRING 2012
New session- Tuesday at 6:00-pm:
May 14, May 21, May 28 and June 4th - 4 evenings
Program includes:
- One 50-minute group training session per week for 4 weeks with Kiersten, a fitness coach & certified running coach. Each workout consists of progressive intervals of slow/normal paced walking and faster paced walking which will increase weekly to build endurance and burn fat. Some workouts will include repetitive hill work.
- Two additional workout plans per week to complete on your own
- Fitness analysis and regular individual feedback by email during the training cycle
- Essential information on walking technique, heart rate training zones, apparel, stretching, hydration, race registration, pacing and recovery
- Skills on how to self-motivate and set realistic, achievable short- and long-term fitness goals
- Walk To Run Fitness training log included
- 15% discount at Sayville Running Company
- The confidence to start a new exercise program that will lead to fitness, community involvement and personal growth
